We Are The Unheard is at the forefront of a transformative movement within the music industry, addressing the critical need for gender equity and diversity.

We Are The Unheard strives to be a catalyst for positive social change, fostering inclusivity, understanding, support and equal opportunities. In the long term, we see an industry where women and gender expansive creatives are supported in their challenges and are celebrated for their strengths, and where our collective efforts have created a more just, empathetic, and interconnected industry.

We pride ourselves on advocating for the underrepresented in the the music industry. We Are The Unheard are renowned for taking action and physically implementing the changes we set out to achieve. We envision a future where every voice, especially those historically marginalised and overlooked, resonates and contributes to a harmonious and empowered industry.

We aim to maintain and promote…

Structural sexism in the music industry is undeniable when you see the stats on the underrepresentation of women/non-binary in all areas. It is a shocking testament to inequality in 2024. The Unheard campaign WILL have a part in changing those statistics by helping to increase the percentage of women and non-binary across all industry sectors to 50%; by raising awareness, staying visible, shouting aloud, and taking action!

It is important that we carry the torches today so we can be visible and pass them on to our daughters, granddaughters, sisters, nieces - the women of tomorrow who WILL be heard!
